Buttocks tightening

The goal of the surgery is to lift the buttocks, sculpt the shape, reduce or enlarge.

Course of the procedure

During the procedure superfluous skin is removed and possibly also fat tissue removed (liposuction). The scar is inconspicuous in the horizontal buttock wrinkle.

Postoperative course

A natural consequence of this surgery are swelling and bruising. They are temporary and gradually disappear after a few weeks. The threads are pulled 10 days after the operation. In the first few days after surgery, you may experience pain that requires painkillers. Most bruises disappear after 10-14 days. Different swellings may last for 1-3 months after surgery. Physical activity is limited for one week. Full physical activity including sports is allowed after 3 to 8 weeks. Each patient receives individual instructions from the physician regarding recommended behavior and further visits.

Potential complications

Complications and poor results after such procedures are rarely observed, but they can occur in extreme cases. The most common complications are hematoma, dermatitis and marginal skin necrosis. These complications can prolong the recovery process and form unaesthetic scars. The most serious complications are pulmonary embolism and fat embolism, which can be life threatening for the patient. The risk of complications can be minimized with medication and special procedures. Therefore, the pursuit of all medical instructions is extremely important.

Buttocks augmentation with implants

The goal of the surgery is to increase the volume of the buttocks.

Course of the procedure

A small incision is made near the sacrum, then an appropriate area is prepared between the muscles of the buttocks, where implants are placed in a specific shape and size.

Before sewing the wounds, suction is applied.

Postoperative course

For a few days after surgery, the patient should lie on his stomach. Natural consequences of this procedure are: pain, swelling, bruising and excretions. Exhausts may be removed if the volume of excretions in one day is less than 30ml. In the first days after the operation, it is often necessary to take medications. The sutures are removed after 10 days. Physical activities are limited for a minimum of 10 days. Full physical activity including sports is allowed after 6 to 8 weeks.

Potential complications

Complications are very rare after such procedures. Potential complications include: hematoma, infection, implant damage. The wound is close to the anus, so special care is recommended. Failure to follow the instructions may increase the risk of infection and, in extreme cases, lead to removal of the implant.

Alternative methods of buttocks augmentation

Another method of augmenting one or both buttocks is to transplant adipose tissue (from a superfluous site) into one or both of the buttocks, to achieve the desired shape and volume. This method is very effective for asymmetric buttocks or removal of scars after inflammation.

Anesthesia

The procedure takes place under local anesthesia or line anesthesia.

Necessary conditions for the surgery

All other conditions are identical to buttocks tightening.
